White Blotchy things on my skin during a shower.?

So i step in the shower and i put my shampoo in and before any body wash is applied i have White Blotchy skin conditions all over my thighs. Please i need to know whats wrong! P.S. I cant be allergic to water. Also this happens every single day in the shower. Also its pretty itchy! Also i was doing the dishes and it did the same thing!! .

I'm willing to bet that you're Irish or of Northern European descent. It happens to our skin type in any temperature change. Pay attention and you'll notice that it's not just in the shower and probably not just on your thighs. The good news is, that it seems to improve with age. (I had a doctor name it for me once, but I don't remember any more!)

All over my arms and legs, and a little on my face, there are these bumps everywhere. It's even on my butt, it's really embarrassing. They are kind of like pimples, but they aren't. My legs are pretty pale and the red and sometimes brownish dots and bumps show up clearly. My arms are darker and the dots and bumps cause it to look blotchy! I am in my late teens, and when i go out, i will do my make-up, foundation, concealer blah blah blah, and it looks fine. Thing is, 30 mins or so later, i look in the mirror, and i have really rosy cheeks. I hate this as it makes my skin look really blotchy. I dont suffer from spots or acne but is just a really annoying problem. Does anyone have any ideas of how to hide or resolve this problem. Would really appreciate anyones help.... :) .

My nose for the past month or two has been doing this. My nose will turn really red and blotchy, like in two little areas.. And then after a couple days.. It'll peel... I figured after that.. It was fine.. Nope.. its back.. it keeps doing it over and over.. its insane! I'm moisturizing every day. I'm washing my face every day. I'm not even wearing as much foundation to see if it helps.. I'm not allergic to anything that i know of.. I'm not eating much differently than i have in the past.. what is this? My sister thinks its just dry skin, but why does it get patchy and all? Sigh.

Trying wearing no makeup for a while till it clears up, I had that problem when I used Acme Clear but I brought oil of olay , put that on and wore no makeup and it went away.

Two yr old with itchy feet?

The past few weeks our 2 yr old daughter has been rubbing her feet on the carpet and saying her feet are itchy. Whe I looked at them they looked a little red and blotchy BUT it was only on her feet and she doesn't go out much, so I figured it was the dry air in the house. I tried putting an oatmeal baby body cream on her feet, but then a few days ago I noticed that she had a raw looking big toe. It looked like the skin had started to peal away and I thought it was just from the rubbing on the carpet.

there are acids at the bottom of our feet every one has it. it may feel external to her but it is really internal. what you should do is give her a foot rub to get the acids out of that one spot. the acids are toxins but are driven to the feet because we stand on them all the time, also what you could do is stop at a drug store like wallgreens or cvs and they have these pads that remove the toxins they are safe and natural and was invented in ancient china. their called detox foot pads. hope i helped :] xoxo, juliaaaa

i got a rash on my neck and its been there for a few days. it started from wearing a long coat and a high collar made from wool and kept rubbing on my neck. however i think the rash has spread a little to the back of my ear. the rash is also blotchy in small patches over an area rather than one big rash, this being a small patches but the skin around it is fine then another little patch and it looks similar to a heat rash. any advice on how to get rid of it? and what cream to use.

I have seborrhoeic dermatitis which causes blotchiness and causes skin to peel away on my face. Even when the blotchiness is gone my skin feels and look dry around my cheeks, and eyes. The only thing I use is some vaseline on my cheeks after coming out the shower in the evenings and in the morning. I find that normal face creams can cause my skin to feel like it is burning when the cream is applied. Is Aloe Vera from a plant (rather than a shop) an option? I would like to use something natural instead of stuff with alcohol in it.

I don't know about dermatitis, but aloe vera works to sooth irritated skin. I have an aloe vera plant and when I get dry spots on my face or when the area around my eyes is sore from makeup removal I just cut off a little chunk and rub the juice on the area. do this at night, though, because when it dries it sometimes leaves a little film. but it works for soothing!

hahahha YES.. be very careful where you go. ask the salon what kind of spray tan they use then go on the internet and research it. also, a really good bronzing cream for pale skin would be LoReal Bronzing Lotion.

Could be small ingrown hairs if it's on the backs of your upper arms and on the tops and backs of the thighs. You could have dry skin too. Get Amlactin lotion from any drug store, it will slowly slough off the dry skin and moisturize it as well. The active ingredient is lactic acid which is very mild. My daughter has this problem. The dry flaky patches aren't going to go away with moisturizer alone. You have to exfoliate. What happens is that the dead, dry skin is sitting on top of your face and your pores. You can put all the moisturizer in the world on your face, but if that dead, dry skin is sitting there, it won't get into your pores, and therefore, will not effectively hydrate. Exfoliation removes the dead, dry skin and opens the pores, so moisturizer can get in there and do its job. I use Clinque 7-Day Scrub after I wash my face. If you haven't exfoliated before, you should use this product for 7 days straight, then the next week for six days, etc.. or as often or as little as you think you need. (Should you decide to try it, the Clinique reps can give you more details about it.) I would also suggest the Clinique Clarifying Lotion, which is an exfoliant as well, to be used on days you do not use the scrub. You will find that your makeup goes on better and stays on longer if you exfoliate.

yes, most manufacturers have a green moisturiser that you can use under your foundation, or right after you moisturise, it keeps your colour tone down and even. Works a treat. Rimmel do a very good one, cheap and effective called colour calmer makeup base.

I know a girl who had this same problem. When she got upset she would break into a rash. Yes definitely mediation but better yet try to learn a meditation skill where the teacher will teach you how to control your anger through breathing exercises and so on... But be patient it takes practice and just remind yourself to be patient. That's what's all about. I have done work like that myself and I can help you. i have combination skin, and the only time i break out is right before my period. on the part of my cheeks right by my nose and on my nose, its very oily, and its also pink and blotchy.. no its not sunburn. i use foundation with spf and im not in the sun enough to be sunburnt. its the only reason i wear foundation and i wish i didnt have to..i use toner as well. is there any way to reduce this color or make it disappear? .

Exfoliate regularly and drink plenty of water. Try to avoid caffeinated beverages during your time of month, and keep your skin hydrated, especially where it's oily. A lot of people don't moisturize oily skin, but it's important that you do.

Ok. Try Vichy or bare minerals. I know loads of people who have used them and trust me, their skin is absolutely glowing! It will complement your skin tone and also moisturize at the same time. I hope this helps
